Please read the following terms and conditions before entering our ‘Win a golf trip to Ireland for two’ Competition.
This prize is sponsored by Tourism Ireland, West of Contra and Golf Away Tours. To be entered for a chance to win, participants must like contest post, be actively following @golffest_to and @tourismireland, and tag at least ONE friend in the comments of the official contest post.
Additional entries will be considered by sharing the contest post to participants personal Instagram stories.
This prize includes:
Contest open to legal residents of Ontario, who are the age of majority in the province of residence at the time of entry.
Participants should be older than 18 years at the time of competition entry, in order to be eligible to participate.
Participants are not required to make a purchase in order to participate.
Internet access is required in order to participate.
This competition is open from March 7 th, 2024 to 7.00PM EST on April 13, 2024.
A prize-winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries received in the aforementioned competition period.
The winner will be drawn at random LIVE on site at Golf Fest Toronto and will receive a direct message from @golffest_to Instagram account. The winner will have 3 days (72 hours) to react and accept their prize. If the winner does not reply within 3 days (72 hours), the prize will be passed on to the next winner.
This prize can be redeemed in the period up until the end of April 2025 based on availability on the requested dates. *Blackout dates may apply for peak periods and holidays. Overnight stays in the Rosapenna Golf Resort, The Everglades Hotel and Portmarnock Resort: Subject to availability. Cannot be exchanged for another hotel. Any additional charges incurred during the stay will be the responsibility of the competition winner.
Tourism Ireland will liaise with the winner & Golf Away Tours to book the relevant airline and hotel partners to organise and book the flights and hotel stay in the name of the winner and their travel companion. Flights and hotel stay will be booked on the basis of availability on the requested dates.
The total value of the prize is CAD $11,000. This prize cannot be exchanged for money. There is no cash or other alternative for this prize (or part thereof). The prize is not transferable to anyone other than the winner.
By entering, participants agree to allow us to use their names and contest-related content for promotional purposes. By entering this competition, the participants agree that the information that is provided may be used by Tourism Ireland and West of Contra to administer this competition. Tourism Ireland and West of Contra reserves the right to exclude entries that contain material deemed offensive or believed to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.
All prize details are correct at time of the publication. Tourism Ireland and West of Contra reserves the right to change the aforementioned details if necessary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tourism Ireland, West of Contra, and Golf Away Tours will assume no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage arising from the winning of this prize or attendance at any venue. The winner will do so at their own risk.
Tourism Ireland and West of Contra reserves the right to modify, terminate or temporarily suspend the competition if it deems it necessary in its sole discretion to do so, provided that Tourism Ireland will not unreasonably exercise this right.
The winner’s name will be publicly announced at GolfFest Toronto on April 13.
Your data will only be collected, processed and used by Tourism Ireland and West of Contra for the stated purposes and for the implementation of the competition, insofar as this is necessary for the execution of the respective purposes. You can object to the collection, processing and use of the data for the aforementioned purposes at any time by sending an e-mail to dpo@tourismireland.com.
The winner may be required to provide additional personal information like passport, driving license, etc. in order for Golf Away Tours to make travel arrangements, for them and their travel companion, to and on the island of Ireland. Arrangements may be made directly through Golf Away Tours. Personal data will need to be shared with relevant parties including air carriers, car hire providers, etc. Only necessary information will respectively be shared to facilitate these activities.
